Back in October 2021,
I once gave up comedy after two years and thought I'd get a job and reevaluate my life, and even though I hardly drink alcohol and I'm not good at or like cooking or talking to people, this place has casual dress code, looks like a wrestling bar, and I couldn't sleep at night at the time so I thought it would be convenient to work at night, so I saw it on TownWork and applied on a whim, never thinking I'd end up working there for four years.
All things considered, I think it was a really comfortable atmosphere. It's all really thanks to you all! I'm so grateful! Thank you so much!
When I first joined the company, the group had just disbanded and I had almost no intention of doing comedy, but after joining as a full-time employee and listening to Takebun's loving guidance and Funai's stories that seemed understandable but were actually hard to understand, I decided that I wanted to do comedy after all, so at the end of 2022, I officially formed the comedy duo Jukuuri Lycopene with my current partner and started working together.
In March 2023, I will be doing comedy.
I was asked to go back to part-time work instead of full-time and started working full-time as a comedian, and that year I made it all the way to the third round of M-1.
To give you an idea of how amazing this is, it's 376 pairs out of 8,540, or a 4% probability!
This result made me feel even more strongly that maybe it was time for me to try a little harder at comedy.
The people who made it to the third round of the M-1 this year were:
I'd like to say it's all thanks to ALE HOUSE Kamiya, but it's probably because of a fight I had with regular customer Ie-san.
That day, Mr. Ie said he wanted to watch soccer, so we kept the shop open until around 7 o'clock, but halfway through, he stopped watching the soccer altogether and started saying, "I don't need to watch the result of this game anymore," and started rambling on about comedy, even though he didn't know the difference between manzai and sketch comedy, and we got into an argument.
I thought I would give it my all at this time, and I also thought I would really try my best at comedy for once.
Thinking back, the argument with Ie-san may be my best memory at Kamiya. Maybe not. But looking back, I can't really say who it was, but my best memories are the times when staff and customers got angry at me, got into arguments with me, and got angry at events!

It's gotten quite long!
The reason why I, Hiraguchi, have decided to leave the store is because I want to go to Tokyo to do comedy!
There were periods when I wasn't active, but I've been performing comedy in Osaka for about 5 years now, and I've met a partner I can trust and want to take on the challenge with seriously!
Through my work at ALE HOUSE Kamiya,
As I met and talked with various people
I really began to feel that I wanted to somehow make a living through comedy and work hard!
So, although the timing is a bit strange, we will be closing ALE HOUSE Kamiya!
And then we'll be doing comedy in Tokyo!!
It really starts from zero!!
I've decided where I'll live!
The contract is in my partner's name so I might get kicked out!
I haven't decided on a part-time job yet! I'm still looking!
I hope I can find a place like Kamiya again!
